Adam I. Friedman, Principal

Prior to founding AFA in 1999, Adam Friedman was a Managing Partner of KCSA Public Relations Worldwide, where he headed the corporate and investor relations practice areas for 12 years. At KCSA, he assisted scores of companies from diverse industry sectors in the enhancement of their profiles on Wall Street and Main Street.


Adam is equally familiar with the corporate perspective, with experience as senior communications executive at General Host Corporation, General Instrument Corporation, and The Continental Group. Having been involved in numerous corporate battles, from takeovers to restructurings, Adam is also an expert in crisis management with close ties to the business press and Wall Street institutions.


Early in his career, Adam spent several years working as a journalist. He holds a Ph.D. in English from New York University and an MBA from the Baruch School of Business. Adam is currently an Adjunct Instructor in NYU’s Public Relations and Corporate Communications program.
